office spaced

Yesterday was one of those days where everything possible happened by lunchtime, then more stuff happened. By the time I got out of the office at nearly 8PM, I forgot that I had a home or where it was – I had to stop and think about it. Once I got there, I could do no more than vegetate in front of the TV. Scrubs was on – the episode where the whole cast start singing as a patient dies at the end. So was CSI, the episode in which Grissom invents a whole mystic theory to explain the shooting of four Buddhist monks, then the truth turns out to be far more prosaic. To add insult to injury, I couldn’t sleep until almost 2AM.

I need a holiday, or at least a few days off. I’ll do that around the end of this month, I think.
